STELIA AEROSPACE, created on January 1, 2015, is a new global player with multiple aeronautical specialties: aero structures, systems integration, equipment, design, production, Business and First class passenger seats and pilot seats.
STELIA AEROSPACE provides a complete offer in Design & Build, for the conception and production of equipped fuselages. Tier 1 partner for the largest OEMs and airlines worldwide, STELIA supports its clients during the aircraft life cycle through design, industrialization, qualification, manufacturing, and customer support. Each year, STELIA Aerospace produces more than 650 noses and fuselage sections and 6 million elementary parts and panels.
STELIA NORTH AMERICA leverages its capabilities, synergies, and expertise to offer design services, assembly, systems integration, manufacturing of complex composite and metallic structures, sub-assemblies, and components.
STELIA NORTH AMERICA COMPOSITE MANUFACTURING specializes in the design, development, and manufacture of advanced composite structures and assemblies for the aeronautic, defense, and space markets. Headquartered in Nova Scotia, Canada, with one site in Mirabel, QC, its main facility consists of 150,000 sq ft (14,000 m2) dedicated to operations and administration. With over 25 years of experience, this branch of STELIA NORTH AMERICA has a particularly strong focus on commercial aircrafts with products that include aircraft structural components and control surfaces. Its vertical integration is offering a wide range of services from conceptual design, material testing and inspection of the final product. A team of 400+ personnel serve its customer base with experience in project management, engineering, design, development, testing, procurement, quality assurance and manufacturing.
STELIA NORTH AMERICA ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEMS INTEGRATION specializes in the assembly of large metallic and composite aerostructures and integration of systems. The 85,000 square meter facility is located at the Montreal Mirabel Airport, and has room for expansion.
The other branch of STELIA NORTH AMERICA is composed of highly skilled engineers and technicians’ teams, providing design and stress services and delivering innovative solutions such as Plug & Fly concept or product customization, always focused on delivering on-schedule and on-budget.
